As you are no doubt aware, we started on a product upgrade program nearly two years ago. To date, Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort has fully renovated 176 of our guest rooms which now reflect a more modern guest room featuring
the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed.
In December 2005, Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort opened our new lobby, lobby lounge and Porte Cochere which has provided our mutual custome
rs with a dramatically improved sense of arrival to our resort. Today, Sheraton Langkawi is delighted to announce that the next phase of our upgrade will commence on Saturday, 9th September 2006. This project will see the complete upgrade of Karma Jaya and Black Henry to two new food & beverage outlets; Feast and Chime. Work will be completed by Sunday 10th December 2006. Whilst Karma Jaya, our all day dining room is closed, Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort will operate Spice Trader restaurant as our breakfast and lunch restaurant. For evening meals, Spice Trader, Captain’s Grill and In Room Dining will be available for our guests to enjoy. The Lobby Lounge will provide evening entertainment with a new 3 piece band performing sixnights per week.
Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort envisage that the disturbance to our guests will be minimal throughout this upgrade and with the revised operation of our restaurants; the dining choices will be satisfactory for our guests to enjoy.
